The Lunatic Cafe
Book 4 of the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter Series

d

My name's Anita Blake, and I'm a preternatural expert--I raise the dead and kill vampires legally.  In my business, you don't fall in love with a werewolf.  It interferes with your work.  Take, for instance, the case involving The Lunatic Café. A number of werewolves were missing and some of the local pack came to me for help.  Maybe because I was dating their alpha male.  I'd survived jealous vampires and killer zombies -- but that love thing nearly killed me.

Ryder Says:
Overall Grade:  93 (A-)
Anita Ranking:  5th Anita Ranking: 5th
Brownie Points:  Hee...PACK!  We get to meet the Satan (and much loved) bitch who is Raina, and there's an evil witch afoot...intriguing and insightful.  Aikensen was also considered when delivering this grade, because that stupid ass was hilarious.
Major Pitfalls: Again, Richard.  He causes me problems... *twitch*  His wishy-washy should-I-shouldn't-I mentality really clouded over a lot of the good aspects in this book.  Also, the case was brilliant, but not *as* brilliant as some others.
Final Thoughts:  Still a magnificent piece of Anita literature!  To get your daily dose of hot fuzzy men, this is definitely the book you should read.
