Burnt Offerings
Book 7 of the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter Series

It's often hard to tell good from evil.  Just ask Anita Blake.  She seems to be developing a soft spot in her heart for vampires - one in particular.  So, when an arsonist's flames begin licking at St. Louis's undead, it's up to Anita to save the very monsters she's sworn to destroy...

Brownie Points:  Errr...Edward is cool.  So is the pard.  There were more good things?
Major Pitfalls: *winces*  Where should I start?  I absolutely loathed the firebug problem.  It was fairly dull and boring in my mind.  And hte vampire council...they didn't appeal to me.  I like Belle Morte, but Padma...what a freak.  He wasn't even remotely well structured for a Laurell character.  *shudders*  It hurts me to see an Anita Blake book like this, because the rest are just so much *better*.
Final Thoughts:  This book absolutely paled in comparision to the rest of the Anita series.  Read it if you want to get the whole shindig, but I didn't think this book was anything special.
